Passion for ProMarkers Challenge & My Very First Easel Card

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by today. Well it's Tuesday today so that means we have a new challenge for you over at Passion for ProMarkers where this week it's turn to set the theme and this week she has chosen a 'Denise'sThink of a Number'

And this is the card that I came up with. I've followed a fabulous sketch from Sketch Saturday, so I shall enter my card there. I decided to try an Easel card and I'm so surprised how easy it was to make and I will be definitely making more of these.

The image I've used is the gorgeous Tilda which I got my Nikki at Bunny Zoes online shop and of course I've used my ProMarkers to colour her in.

The gorgeous DP that I've used is from the July kit from Crafty Alley. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture but there's numbers on the DP for the number theme.

Now don't fall off of your chairs but the flowers I DID NOT make this time. The gorgeous flowers are also in the July kit from Crafty Alley along with the ribbon and other embellies. The flowers are actually white but I've inked the edges using Tea Dye Distress Inks

Only one more day to go over here in Ireland and the kids break up from school for the summer holidays - WooooooooooooHooooooooooooo.

I'm also looking forward and nervous to this coming Saturday as I'm doing my first ever Cardmaking class at Crafty Alley in Killarney, so wish me luck everyone.

Wags n Whiskers Sneak Peak Day 2 - Let's Party

Hi there and welcome to Day 2 of the sneak peaks to the brand new release from Wags n Whiskers called "Let's Party"!!

This is also an exciting time as we're introducing you to a new Wags 'n Whiskers artist, Emma Metcalf who is an Illustrator in the UK for children's books.

These adorable images will be available to purchase as a digital download or available in rubber from Friday 25th June.

For my card I've followed a fabulous sketch from Friday Sketchers so I shall enter my card there.

The adorable image I've used for my card is called 'Toby's Gift' and I've coloured him using my ProMarker pens.

The DP is Dovecraft I think as it's been at the bottom of my drawer for ages.

The stars I made myself using my slice machine and then painting them gold using Adriondack Paint Dabber.

The ticket sentiment I created on my PC.

I've distressed all the edges using my scissors and then inked them up using Faded Jeans Distress Inks.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Friday so that means we have a new challenge for you at Wags 'n Whiskers. This week's challenge is hosted by myself and for this challenge I want you to have a 'Distressing Time' - distress your papers. For my card I've used one of the digi images from Wags n Whiskers which are being released today from the Spring Time Fun range. To give the image a little depth, I've added some texture to the t-shirt and shoes using Paint.net and then coloured it using ProMarker pens. The 'Just for You' sentiment I added myself onto the image.

The DP I've used is from the June kit from Crafty Alley and I've distressed the edges using just scissors.
