Whiff of Joy Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Wednesday so that means we have a brand new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy and we have a colour combo for you to follow, which is Aqua, Pink & Cream.

For my card I’ve used one of the gorgeous images from Elisabeth Bell called Willow which is available from Whiff of Joy and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens.

The DP is a mixture of Tim Holtz and Fancy Pants and I’ve inked the edges using Antique Pink distress inks.

The tag I created by using the Sweethearts Tag die from Whiff of Joy and then tied a few pieces of ribbon to it.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine and I’ve used the Romantic Swirls/Leaf dies from Whiff of Joy for the leaves.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from Whiff of Joy.

Wags n Whiskers Challenge DT Card

 

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Friday so that means we have a new challenge for you over at the Wags n Whiskers Challenge blog. This week’s challenge is set by Tracy and she would like you to use acetate, vellum, or tissue on your card.

Don't forget our challenge is now open. Anyone can play along and you DO NOT need to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image.

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous Angelica from Wags n Whiskers and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens. I’ve inked around the edges using Brushed Corduroy distress inks. 

The DP that I’ve used is Prima and I’ve distressed the edges using my scissors and then inked the edges using Brushed Corduroy distress inks.

The acetate that I’ve used is from Fancy Pants which I’ve had for some time now.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine and the gorgeous pearl brads are from Whiff of Joy.

Whiff of Joy Challenge First DT Card

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by. Today I’d like to show you my first DT card for the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog. This week we have a fabulous theme for you which is ‘Fuzz’ – use felt, flower soft, fun flock, etc….

For my card I’ve used the ‘Wedding Cake’ image from the Wedding & Baby Collection from Whiff of Joy and I’ve coloured it using my ProMarker pens and I’ve then added fun flock to the leaves and part of the cake decorations.

The DP is ‘Lost & Found’ – Tim Holtz which I got from the Crafty Alley.

The flowers I made myself using various dies and I’ve also glued some fun flock onto a brad and stuck it into the middle of the flower.

Truly Scrumptious DT Challenge Card

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Wednesday so that means we have a new challenge for you over at Truly Scrumptious and this week and we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow with the optional extra challenge of 'How Does Your Garden Grow'.

Hi there it's me again. Just want to quickly show you a card that I've made for the Whiff of Joy challenge where there is a fabulous sketch to follow.

Whiff of Joy Challenge 78

Hi there everyone and hope you're all having a lovely Saturday. Today I'd like to show you a card that I've made for the Whiff of Joy Challenge where there is a fabulous sketch to follow.

For my card I've used the gorgeous 'Wedding Cake' stamp from the Wedding/Baby Collection from Whiff of Joy.

The DP I've used is from the May Vintage Findings Kit from Crafty Alley. I've inked the edges using Tea Dye distress inks and then gone over it again with Distress Stickles. I also used a swirl stamp and Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber Gold for the top right hand corner of the papers.

The flowers I made myself using various dies.

The design on the papers I've created by using the colour Cocoa and Antique Pink and using various stamps. Although I've cheated a bit as I've inked the edges of my papers using Tea Dye distress inks.

Hi there and a HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY TO YOU ALL. Here in Ireland it's a Bank Holiday so no rushing to get the kids ready for school, woooohooooo. Hopefully weather permitting, we'll be heading off into town around lunchtime to see the parade.
