To celebrate the launch of the new stamps of Inky Impressions all of the DT (Inkspirational Inkettes) are participating in a Blog Hop.
Wait until you see these gorgeous stamps, you are going to love them. The images are simply adorable and the quality & detail is exceptional! Each stamp is "EXTRA deep etched" on quality red rubber for a crisp, clean impression every time!
If you are joining in the Blog Hop, have you hopped over from Pam's blog. If not I'm afraid you're going to have to go back to the beginning, which is Nicole's (Inky Mama) blog.
Make sure you leave a comment on each of the Inkspirational Inkettes blogs along the way as most or all will have a mystery surprise candy for one lucky hopper.
Nicole really put a lot of thought of who would receive the stamps in their DT package. As not a lot of people know this, but I lost my lovely Mum to the horrible disease of cancer Dec 07 and to be honest, I still have bad days and feel very down. So I was really touched when I opened up by DT package to see that I received the Breast Cancer Inky Impressions stamp and as it's October next month (Breast Cancer Awareness month) this is an ideal time to show you.
Here is my first project that I've made for the Blog Hop
Meet the adorable Lili Ribbon. She is an unmounted, "EXTRA DEEP ETCHED" Red Rubber Stamp that is sold with EZ Mount.
I've coloured in Lili using my ProMarker pens.
For my card I've followed the fabulous sketch that is over at Mojo Monday this week and I'll enter my card there.
The paper I've used is a freebie digital download from Pink Petticoat called Think Pink.
The 'Hope' badge is also a digital download and I can't remember where I got it from, sorry.
The flowers I made myself using my Sizzix Flower Layers Number 2 die. I also cut out some pink organza ribbon with different nestie circles and then used my heat gun to curl the edges up. Then I stuck a brad in the centre of each one. I also used my Spellbinders Shapeabilities Floral Accent die for a leaf effect.
This is my second project for the Blog Hop
For my card I've followed the sketch over at A Spoon Full of Sugar so I shall enter my card there.
Here is another gorgeous image of Lili this time in her roller blades.
Just look at the detail in this image isn't just gorgeous and now as I'm looking at this photo I see that I've forgotten to give her nail varnish, lol.
The DP that I've used is I think BasicGrey - Bittersweet.
The flowers I made myself and the floral scroll is by Spellbinders.
I hope you've enjoyed your stay and if you want to carry on with the Blog Hop, your next stop is Crystal to see what gorgeous creations that she has made.
Thanks for dropping by.
Hugs Michele x

Oh, Michele! These are adorable! The first one reminds me of my little 8yr old friend that one year ago today found out she had cancer. (Treatments are done and she's doing really well.) The thing that reminds me so much of her is that she has the biggest eyes I've ever seen, so this image makes me thing so much of her! Thanks for sharing your heart in this card.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
