BasicGrey Challenge - Chipboard

Hi there, hope you all had a fantastic weekend. This week on BasicGrey Challenge the theme is "Chipboard". But if you don't have any chipboard you can do a bit of recycling by using thick cardboard instead. Simply cut some shapes from it, decorate it how you please.

This is the card that I came up with. I used the same sketch as last weeks on BasicGrey. The papers I used are BasicGrey Ambrosia and the heart shape is a quickutz die which I cut outtwice, once with thick cardboard and again with BasicGrey paper. The scroll background and sentiment I've created on my pc. I'm not quite happy with this card as there's no pretty flowers or ribbon. I wanted to make a masculine card and I don't think flowers would go very well, lol. Oh well it's done now.

  7. Stunning Michele! I love your creativeness with making the heart and I think this is the perfect Valentine card for a man. I think we get so used to using flowers and ribbon because we love them so much that when we don't use them we don't like the effect. I think it's perfect. Chris x
