The plain navy strip I embossed with the cuttlebug snowflake and the sentiment is from my pc. The snowflakes have been punched out and the white ones I embossed them with white opaque powder to give them a little bit of texture. TFL x

Sorry I haven't been around much but

I've been having a very hard time these last few weeks. It will be my mum's first anniversary since she passed away on the 11th December. And this time last year we found out that she had a very aggressive form of cancer in her liver and there was nothing that they could do. I also found out this week that my aunt was called back for a second mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy on her right breast and we won't get the results till next Monday. I'm very close to my aunt and see her as a second mum. I've been trying to carry on with things as normal as possible but at the moment I seem to be at a very low point and can't get myself out of it. I've been trying to make cards but nothing I make looks right. Sorry for the long post but thanks for listening.

I made this card for one of my cousins who is very religious and I don't think that she would like any of the images that I have. So I thought that I'd give her a card with just wording. YIPPEEE I Won Bev's Candy

I don't belieeeeve it (sound like Victor Meldrew don't I lol) but I found out last night that I won Bev's FAB-U-LOUS candy. Good afternoon, hope you're having a good day. Today in Ireland it's very windy and raining alot (what a surprise lol). Well I've received another award yippee and this time it's from another Michele (with one L). Thank you sooo much for this award Michele, it's lovely to know that people like my cards and take the time to make comments. The rule is that I have to pass it onto 7 people. Secret Crafter - Challenge 5

Good evening everyone, hope you all had a lovely day today. We had gorgeous weather here today, it was so nice the kids were able to play outside. I also received two lovely packages in the post. One from Vicky from ABC Challenges (superfast delivery) and the other from Val which is pif candy (pay it forward). I will take pictures tomorow and post them up. I have just finished my card for the Secret Crafter challenge, which is a lovely sketch by Jill but I've just realised that you also have to incorporate the colours pink, white & brown. Well this is definatley my luck week. Not only did I received two awards, but yesterday I found out that I won a prize on ABC Challenge. I think my luck is definatley changing for the better (maybe my mum is looking down on me, who knows).
