Whiff of Joy Challenge First DT Card

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by. Today I’d like to show you my first DT card for the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog. This week we have a fabulous theme for you which is ‘Fuzz’ – use felt, flower soft, fun flock, etc….

For my card I’ve used the ‘Wedding Cake’ image from the Wedding & Baby Collection from Whiff of Joy and I’ve coloured it using my ProMarker pens and I’ve then added fun flock to the leaves and part of the cake decorations.

The DP is ‘Lost & Found’ – Tim Holtz which I got from the Crafty Alley.

The flowers I made myself using various dies and I’ve also glued some fun flock onto a brad and stuck it into the middle of the flower.

Really Exciting Whiff of Joy News

Hi there and thanks for stopping by today. At last I can tell you my really exciting news, I’ve known this now for a couple of days but I wanted to make sure first that it was ok to let everyone know. Well the other day I received an email from Katharina Frei owner of Whiff of Joy asking if I would like to be on the permanent DT. Well after lifting my chin off of the floor, I quickly responded and of course my answer was YES. I’ve been in love with the Whiff of Joy stamps every since I started card making about 3 years now and it has been my dream to be on the DT. I was previously Guest Designer and had so much fun using the gorgeous stamps, that I didn’t want it to end. I’m going to stop waffling on now and show you a card that I’ve made using just one of these gorgeous stamps.

The gorgeous image that I’ve used is Willow Holding Baby from Whiff of Joy and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker pens.

The DP is from the June Kit from Crafty Alley and the flowers I made myself using various dies.

The ticket badge I created on my pc and the actual sentiment is a digital download.

The image I’ve used is called ‘Summer Fairy’ from Spesch Designer Stamps and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker pens.

For the recycled part I’ve used a cereal box and cut out a circle using one of my nesties. I’ve then inked it up using Victorian Velvet distress inks and then stuck some lace at the back.

Altered Children's Book

Hi there everyone and thanks for stopping by. Today I’d like to show you a little project that I’ve made using a hard-backed children’s book. I’ve got so many of these books that my children don’t look at anymore, so I thought that I’d put them to good use. So I decided to make a mini-album for the very first time. A friend of mine is getting married in a few weeks time so I thought that I would make a wedding mini-album for her as a little gift.

Pollycraft Challenge
