Whiff of Joy Inspirations–Distressing Tutorial

 

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve done a tutorial over at Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog showing you how I distress my embellishments using a new technique that I stumbled across.

For my card I’ve used the adorable Henry and Betty Mouse from Whiff of Joy and I’ve coloured them using my ProMarker pens.

The DP is DCWV Christmas Stack.

The tag, swirl and holly I’ve made using the gorgeous dies from Whiff of Joy and I’ve distressed them using the new technique which I’ve done a tutorial over at Whiff of Joy Inspirations blog.

Passion for ProMarkers Mega Christmas Challenge

 

Hi there and thanks for stopping by today. Well it's Tuesday today so that means we have a fab new challenge for you over at Passion for ProMarkers. We will be running this challenge over the month of December and the theme is ‘Anything Goes’

Whiff of Joy Challenge DT Card

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. I’m a bit late in posting this because for the last few days myself and my two boys have been struck down with a horrible tummy bug that completely wiped me out and I had no energy to sit at my craft desk. But thankfully today I’m starting to feel a bit better so I quickly put this card together for the new challenge that we have over at Whiff of Joy today which is ‘Christmas – with no red or green’

For my card I’ve used the adorable new image which is available from today at Whiff of Joy called Happy New Year Ben and I’ve coloured him using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens.

The sentiment I’ve used is also from Whiff of Joy along with the fancy stamp and matching die.

The snowflakes I’ve made myself using the snowflakes die from Whiff of Joy and also the gorgeous pearl brads.

Well today is Friday so that means we have a new challenge for you over at the Wags n Whiskers Challenge blog. This week’s challenge is set by our very own Nikki and she has chosen the theme ‘Wrap it up!’ – either make a gift bag, box or a tag

For my project I decided to make a cute little gift box using the adorable Sweet Danni and Bella image and I’ve coloured it using my ProMarkers and for the fine details (hair) I’ve used my AquaMarker pens

The DP I’ve used is from DCWV Christmas Stack and I’ve inked the edges using Brushed Corduroy distress ink.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge & Whiff of Joy Sneak Peak

 

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Wednesday so that means we have a new challenge for you over at Truly Scrumptious and this week we have another fabulous sketch for you to follow with the optional extra of ‘Think Pink’

For my card I’ve used one of the adorable new stamps from Whiff of Joy which will be available from 1st December and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens.

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges using my scissors and then inked them using Frayed Burlap.

The sentiment is from the new sentiments range of stamps from Whiff of Joy which will be available from 1st December.

The flowers I made myself using various dies.

Passion for ProMarkers Blog Hop & Whiff of Joy Sneak Peak

To celebrate the change of Design Teams from team 2 to team 1 both teams have participated in a blog hop. I’m sure you are as excited as I am as there are lots of lovely goodies up for grabs!! We also have a few new faces on the design team so I hope you will leave them a nice comment to welcome them.

Here’s the card that I made following the sketch below. I flipped the sketch around so that it would fit in with the image that I wanted to use which is ‘Dancing Willow’ from the City Girl range of stamps from Whiff of Joy.
