Whimsy Stamps April Release

Hello and welcome to the Whimsy Stamps April 2013 Release Day BLOG HOP!
Yesterday, Whimsy Stamps released some brand new Rubber Stamps & Stamp Sets, Whimsy Shapeology Dies,  Shape EZ by TLC templates and Whimsy Designer Paper 6x6 packs. These new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favourites. Please visit the Whimsy blog for a full reveal of this month’s release.

You may have noticed that we have changed our rubber release schedule this month. We are now hosting a 3-day new release event where we have a Sneak Peek Blog Hop on the day before the release (Tuesday), a Release Day Blog Hop on release day (yesterday), and finally a Review Day Blog Hop the day after the release (today).
Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

The adorable image that I’ve used is “Flower Fairies” designed by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps and I’ve coloured it using promarkers, flexmakers and aquamarkers.

The DP is called ‘Funky Flowers’ which has been designed by me for Whimsy Stamps and I’ve inked the edges using distress inks.

The flowers I created in Photoshop and then coloured them and I’ve also used the Lace Doily Border 1 Die and Viney Fence Border Die from Whimsy Stamps.

Whimsy Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to share with you a card that I’ve made for the Whimsy Challenge where the theme this month is Stitching – faux or real (and as I’m typing this I’ve just realised that I didn’t add any faux stitching – oops)

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous "Skippydee and Indiana" from the Little Cottage Cuties Collection illustrated by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps and I’ve coloured it using promarkers, flexmakers and aquamarkers.

The DP is called ‘Designer Grunge’ which has been designed by me for Whimsy Stamps and I’ve inked the edges using distress inks.

I didn’t have time to make flowers for this card so I used some from Wild Orchid Crafts and I’ve also used the Lace Doily Border 1 Die designed by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.

The lace border around the card was created using the gorgeous the Lace Doily Border 1 Die designed by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.
