La-la Land Inspiration Friday DT Card

Good morning to you all and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made for the La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday.  

  

Every Monday and Friday the La-La Land Crafts DT will bring you an inspirational theme and you are more than welcome to play along using your La-La Land stamps. All you have to do is post your projects to our Customer Gallery.     

This week the theme is ‘One for the boys’ incorporate brads/eyelets. 

For my card I’ve used the adorable Sir Luka from La-La Land and I’ve coloured him with the following ProMarker colours:- 

Skin: Cocoa, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush
Hair: Walnut, Cocoa, Ivory
Grey tones: Black, Cool Grey 5, Cool Grey 3, Cool Grey 1 & Blender

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy. I also tore a page out of one of the old fairy tale books that my kids no longer read and inked the edges.

The lock, key and hinges have been cut out using Tim Holtz dies and I’ve coloured them with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and then painted the edges with white paint.

Everything else that I’ve used on my card is from my stash.

This week it’s my turn and I’ve created a sketch for everyone to follow. 

For my card I’ve used the adorable Star Boy Luka from La-La Land and I’ve coloured him using my ProMarkers and AquaMarkers. 

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges.

La-La Land Inspiration Friday

This week the theme is Monochrome plus a splash of another colour and this is the card that I created.   

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous Marci with Rose and I’ve coloured her using the following Promarker colours:- 

Skin:- Cocoa, Coral, Sunkissed Pink & Blush

Greens:- Holly, Moss, Pear Green, Lime Green & Lime Zest

Browns:- Walnut, Cocoa, Cinnamon & Blush 

The DP is Butterfly Garden by Pink Paislee and I’ve distressed the edges then inked them using Brushed Corduroy. 

Most of the flowers I made myself except the two small brown rosebuds which are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

La-La Land Inspirational Friday

Good morning to you all and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made for the La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday.

This week it’s Trisha’s turn to set the theme and she has chosen a recipe which is Pearls, lace and punches and this is the card that I created.  

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous Dress up Marci from La-La Land and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens. 

The DP is Making Memories and I’ve distressed the edges and inked them up using Brushed Corduroy. 

The red roses and rolled roses I made myself and the other rosebuds are from Wild Orchid Crafts. 

The lace is from my stash and the ticket I created on my pc.

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. Hopefully this post has gone ok as I’m actually on holiday in Holland at this moment, so for the rest of the week I’ve everything scheduled. Today we have a brand new challenge for you over at Passion for ProMarkers and it’s Andie’s turn and she has chosen the theme ‘Park Life’.

For my card I’ve used the adorable ‘Soccer Luka’ from LaLa Land and I’ve coloured him using my ProMarker and AquaMarker pens. 

The DP is a mixture of MME Wild Asparagus and Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges and inked them up using Brushed Corduroy. 

The stars and hinges I cut out using my dies and then for an aged effect I melted some candle wax in a bowl and dipped them in. 

The ticket I created on my pc using Adobe Illustrator and the tag has been cut using the Sweethearts Tag die from Whiff of Joy.

This week it’s Ching’s turn to set the theme and she has chosen ‘Summer Time Fun’ and this is the card that I created.

For my card I’ve used the adorable ‘Summer Luka’ stamp from La-La Land and I’ve coloured him using the following ProMarker colours:-

Skin: Cocoa, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush

Hair: Chestnut, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Blush           AquaMarker – Mahogany

Swimsuit: Holly, Forest Green, Apple, Meadow Green, Blender pen

Flippers & Snorkel: Black, Cool Grey 3, Cool Grey 1

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them using Brushed Corduroy.

The metal embellishments are from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology range.

The tag I cut out using the Magical Tag die from Whiff of Joy and the sentiment is from the ‘You Are My Hero’ sentiments stamp also from Whiff of Joy.

The fun wording I cut out using my slice machine and the ticket I created myself using Adobe Illustrator.
