Truly Scrumptious Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you my card for the new Truly Scrumptious Challenge where this fortnight we are sponsored by Lili of the Valley.

For my card I’ve used the adorable ‘Leap Frog’ image from Lili of the Valley and I’ve coloured it using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers.

The DP is called Vintage Blue Flower Garden and is one of my new digital printable designs which is available on my website Michele R Designs. I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Tea Dye.

The sentiment that I’ve used is also from my website and is available in the Elements section.

The cream lace is from Bunny Zoe Crafts and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and Happy Valentines Day to you all. Today I’d like to show you my DT card for Passion for ProMarkers where we have a new challenge for you this week which is ‘Distressing’.

For my card I’ve used the adorable Tilda and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarkers, AquaMarkers and FlexMarkers.

The DP is called Vintage Pink Butterfly and is one of my new digi design papers that is available on my website in either 12x12 or 6x6. I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

The lace I’ve used is from Bunny Zoe Crafts and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The sentiment is from my website and is called Pink Butterfly Garden Tag Sentiments Pack you can get it from here.

Bunny Zoe Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Yesterday (Sunday) my eldest son Liam sang in the school choir for the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland in the INEC Killarney and it was such an amazing night. All the parents that went had a magical night and didn’t want it to end.

Today I’d like to show you my DT project that I’ve made for the brand new challenge over at Bunny Zoe Challenge and the theme for this month is ‘Celebrations’

For my card I’ve used the Gorjuss – Bluebirds Proposal stamp and I’ve coloured it using my ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and AquaMarkers.

The DP is Roses from Cart-us and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

The gorgeous ribbon is Marianne D Flower Ribbon – Vintage from Bunny Zoe Crafts and the lace is also from there.

Also on my card I’ve used the gorgeous Birdcage Charm and some flat backed pearls.

New Tag Sentiment Packs

Hi there everyone and a happy Friday :0)

I’ve been busy designing tag sentiments that matches my papers and I’ve uploaded a couple of packs to my website. I’ll be adding more in the next few days, so watch this space.

These are a collection of 7 different digital sentiments that matches the Pink & Green Butterfly Garden 12x12 and 6x6 designs. Included in this set are 7 individual sentiments in transparent PNG, non-transparent JPEG, one A4 (8.5” x 11”) JPEG file containing all 7 sentiments. All images are 300 dpi for high quality print results.

Hi there everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you my DT card for Passion for ProMarkers where we have a new challenge for you this week which is a colour theme of Grey & Purple/Lilac.

For my card I’ve used the adorable Fancy Anya which is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve coloured her using ProMarkers, AquaMarkers and FlexMarkers.

The DP is a mixture of Tim Holtz and Roses from Cart-us.com which is available also from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts except for the one on the left which I made myself.

The gorgeous heart charm that I’ve used you can get from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you my DT card for Passion for ProMarkers where we have a new challenge for you this week which is – Recycle.

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous Celebration Tilda from the new Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love collection which is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and AquaMarkers.

For the recycle theme I’ve used some cardboard from a cereal box, ran it through my corrugator and then inked it up using Brushed Corduroy.

The DP is called Roses by Cart-Us and is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the gorgeous rose ribbon, birdcage charm and pink pearls are from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

Truly Scrumptious DT Card–Something Forgotten

Hi there everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you my DT card for Truly Scrumptious where we have a new challenge for you this week which is – Something Forgotten.

I went through all my stamps and I decided to use this adorable stamp from Whiff of Joy which I’ve not used for a long time. I’ve coloured in the Happy Birthday Gnome image using my ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and AquaMarkers.

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve painted the edges using white acrylic paint and then distressed them using my scissors.

For the hinges and padlock I cut them out using the Tim Holtz die using thin cardboard and then painted them using white acrylic paint.

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge DT Card

Hi there everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you my DT card for Passion for ProMarkers where we have a new challenge for you this week which is – Inspired by a Song.

I’ve finally got the chance to use this gorgeous image from Saturated Canary called ‘Zorana – A Dancing Gypsy’ and I’ve coloured her using a mixture of ProMarkers, AquaMarkers and FlexMarkers. The song that inspired me to use this image is Gypsy from Fleetwood Mac.

The DP is something that I quickly designed and I distressed the edges and then inked it up using Brushed Corduroy.

The pink roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the grunge style flower is one I made myself.

The brown lace that I’ve used on my card is from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone I’m back finally to blogging again. I’ve had a rough couple of months, so my mojo went completely out the window and crafting didn’t interest me in the slightest. But as I run the Truly Scrumptious challenge blog, I thought that I’d better get my a**e into gear.

I decided to make another wall hanging as I’ve got so many cards that I’ve not bothered to sell as yet and I used one of the gorgeous Tildas which is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I coloured her using my ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and AquaMarker pens.

The DP is Pink Paislee and I’ve distressed the edges and then painted them using white acrylic paint.

The large flowers I made myself and the small rosebuds are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I’ve also dabbed some acrylic paint onto these.

Elphine House Australia Challenge DT Card

Hi there and thanks for stopping by. Well today is Wednesday so that means we have a brand new challenge for you at Elphine House Australia and this week we have a photo inspiration theme for you.

The prize for this fortnight is two stamps of your choice from Elphine House Australia.

I decided not to make a card this time but I made a wall hanging instead. I got some cardboard and cut out the shape by hand and then I painted it using white acrylic paint.

The gorgeous image that I used is Daisy and I coloured her using my ProMarkers, FlexMakers and AquaMarker pens.

The DP is a mixture of Prima, DCWV and Tim Holtz and I’ve painted the edges and then distressed them using scissors and inked them up using Brushed Corduroy distress inks.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine and also a scrap piece of ribbon.

I’m back again this morning to show you my DT card for the new challenge that is over at Truly Scrumptious. Myself and the rest of the DT are taking a well earned break and will be back in January with a new challenge.

The theme this fortnight is a nice easy one which is to make a Christmas Project with Pearls/Vintage.

As the challenge is White on White this week I did not use any DP but I used cardstock instead which I painted with acrylic paints and a sponge to give a textured effect. I distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

Hi there everyone and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I have a double posting to show you and the first one is for Passion for ProMarkers where the challenge this week is to make a card/project for a child.

For my card I’ve used the adorable Tilda with Daffodil from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarkers, AquaMarkers and FlexMarker pens.

The DP is Magnolia from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve distressed the edges and then applied white acrylic paint around the edges.

The dies that I’ve used on my card are the Magnolia DooHickey Mini Doily from Bunny Zoe Crafts, Grass and Tag die both from Whiff of Joy.

The flowers I’ve used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is my DT card for the Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge blog and this month the theme is all the P’s – Pink Purple, Pearls & Pretties.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone and hope that you had a good weekend. Well as today is Tuesday we have a brand new challenge for you over at Passion for ProMarkers and this week it’s Lisa’s turn and she has chosen the theme ‘Stars’.

Bouquets of Wishes

Good morning everyone and hope that you’re having a lovely relaxing Saturday. Today I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made using the gorgeous Mia with Bouquet which is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

I’ve coloured in the gorgeous image using my ProMarkers, AquaMarkers and FlexMarker pens.

The DP is the very yummy Blue Rainbow Flower and Turquoise Plaid from Magnolia and is available at Bunny Zoe Crafts. I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

I made the tag using the Sweethearts Tag die from Whiff of Joy and I’ve used a little bit of the gorgeous lace from Bunny Zoe Crafts along with some blue wired ribbon.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine and other dies.

Good morning to you all and hope that you’re having a good week so far. Today I’d like to show you my late DT card for the new challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers. I was meant to post this yesterday but I didn’t get round to finishing my card and then I had to go to work in the afternoon and wasn’t back till late last night.

For my altered project, I decided to decorate a wine bottle which I intend to give one of the kids Teachers as a Christmas gift. Good morning everyone and hope that you had a good weekend. I’m so sorry that I’ve not been around much these last few weeks but since I’ve gone back to work after 10 years of looking after my babies, I’ve not had the time or energy to craft like I used to. I really hope that things start to settle down soon, as I might have to stop crafting altogether :0( Well as today is Tuesday we have a brand new challenge for you over at Passion for ProMarkers and this week it’s my turn and I’ve designed a sketch for you to follow.

Lil Victorian Christmas Lad Lestat

Good afternoon to you all and hope that you’re enjoying the weekend. Today I have another card to show you using the very handsome Lestat from Tickled Pink Stamps which will be available from 13th September.

I’ve coloured in Letsat using my ProMarkers, AquaMarkers & FlexMarker pens from Letraset.

The DP is Basic-Grey Nordic Holiday which is available from Bunny Zoe Crafts and I’ve distressed the edges and then painted them with white acrylic paint. To give a more aged look, I then ink the edges lightly with Brushed Corduroy.

The metal key and lock embellishments are Tim Holtz and the snowflake charm is from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

The snowflake I made using the dark blue cardstock and the snowflake die from Whiff of Joy. I then painted the snowflakes using white acrylic paint and used liquid pearls.

The sentiment is also from the new Christmas sentiments from Tickled Pink.

Soft Lines Curly Locks Kiki

Hiya it’s me again :0) This time I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made using a new technique that I’ve come across on Facebook. As I don’t have any light shades of Memento Ink, I thought that I’d try this technique out on a digi image.

For my card I’ve used the gorgeous image ‘Curly Locks Kiki’ from Elisabeth Bell and I’ve coloured her using my ProMarkers, FlexMarkers and AquaMarkers.

To achieve the no lines look on the above image, I set the transparency setting to 10% in Photoshop. It was quite daunting when I first started to colour as I had to really think about where the shadows would be. The was my first attempt at this and I’m quite pleased with the result and would love to know what you think (please be kind :0) )

The DP I created myself and is part of my Vintage Cottage collection which you can get from my Etsy shop.

The flowers I also created myself using my slice machine and other various dies.

Whiff of Joy Challenge DT Card

For my project I decided to make a large tag from scratch. I just cut out a rectangle shape using cardboard and then cut the corners at an angle and then punch a hole in the centre using my Crop-a-Dile. Then I used the Whiff of Joy Hearts Lace Border die to cut out the shape at the bottom.

The image I’ve used is from the March Store Stamp Kit – Blooming Spring and I’ve coloured her using my Promarkers, FlexMarkers & AquaMarkers.

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy.

The smaller tag I cut out using the Sweethearts Tag die from Whiff of Joy and I’ve added some pearls and lace to it.

The sentiment is part of the March Store Stamp Kit and I’ve used the City Girl Shape die to cut it out.

The flowers I made myself using my slice machine and other various dies.

Tickled Pink Preview Day 7 Spinks & Spooks Collection–Lil Haunts 2 Vampire Lestat

Good afternoon to you all and welcome to day 7 of the Lil Haunts previews from Tickled Pink. Today I’d like to share with you a project that I’ve made using the Vampire Lestat image which has been illustrated by Christina Dee. This image along with 7 more Halloween images will be available from Tickled Pink from 15th August along with Ann’s wonderful Halloween sentiment set.

When I saw this image I knew straight away that I was going to make a coffin Halloween treat box and I got the template from the Martha Stewart website.

I cut the box out using black cardstock and then around the edges I used Platinum Liquid Pearls to give a little design. I then made 4 holes and put pearl brads through them along with a bit of twine. I didn’t have red pearl brads so I just coloured them using my burgundy promarker pen.

The black roses I made myself using my slice machine and the brilliant sentiment is by the very talented Ann.

Friday Freebie Printable High Quality Digi Paper

Good afternoon to you all and hope that you’ve had a good week. Today I’ve got no card to show you but instead, I’d like to share with you a digi design paper freebie. After so many times of running out of my favourite DP, I thought that I would have a go at designing my own using Adobe Photoshop.

I’ve had so much fun designing this sheet and others that I think that I will be making much more.

The size of this digi paper is 15cm x 15cm (perfect for cardmakers) and I’ve used 300 dpi to ensure that the print is perfect.

Good morning to you all and hope that you’re keeping well. Today I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made for the La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday.

Every Monday and Friday the La-La Land Crafts DT will bring you an inspirational theme and you are more than welcome to play along using your La-La Land stamps. All you have to do is post your projects to our Customer Gallery.

This week the theme is ‘One for the boys’ incorporate brads/eyelets.

For my card I’ve used the adorable Sir Luka from La-La Land and I’ve coloured him with the following ProMarker colours:-

Skin: Cocoa, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush
Hair: Walnut, Cocoa, Ivory
Grey tones: Black, Cool Grey 5, Cool Grey 3, Cool Grey 1 & Blender

The DP is Tim Holtz and I’ve distressed the edges and then inked them up using Brushed Corduroy. I also tore a page out of one of the old fairy tale books that my kids no longer read and inked the edges.

The lock, key and hinges have been cut out using Tim Holtz dies and I’ve coloured them with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and then painted the edges with white paint.
